Busy Busy Mils.

Rule #1 I clearly need to do these posts more often!

5 Day Summary :)

Friday 25th July
So I went into work on my day off for just one hour to do a bridesmaids makeup, just call me THE kindest beauty therapist in the North West ;) well it was more of a reason to MAKE me go to the gym cause I'd already be there and that is exactly what I did 20min HIIT sprints which made me absolutely sweat buckets before heading off to the Trafford Centre.

Obviously I AM sweating buckets in that first photo... and my Snap Chat friends clearly love the sweaty selfies I post haha.

I then trotted of in the extreme heat and traffic to finally met up with the other half of my brain (the brunette side) and the woman who inspires me most in the world Christine (cheeeeese :D)

The absolute superstar brought me the most beautiful (belated, we're busy ladies you know) birthday present :D a Pandora bracelet with a sparkly pineapple (obviously i'm a juicy JP lady) arghhhh I absolutely love it :D so so beautiful.

Oh yes and standard we had to have cocktails, this ISN'T part of the summer slim down programme. Although mine was an apple martini, slightly healthier, no?

I got my first bits for Kendal Calling from Topshop too :D

Breakfast :- Juice Plus Shake with Frozen Berries
Post Workout :- Plain JP Shake
Cheat :- Urmmm cocktails?
Late Lunch :- Chicken and Rice at Tampopo (in the Trafford Centre)
Evening Snack :- Ryvita and Cottage Cheese

Rice dish at Tampopo I could of fed a whole family with

Saturday 26th July
I was a good girl this week and stayed in after work watching ILLAMASQUA makeup tutorials after seeing Christine's AMAZING transformation by 'Mitchell' in Selfridges. WOW.
I tried out the look with my own makeup and looking at doing a makeup post very very soon when I get the time :)

Breakfast :- Vanilla complete, rice milk and coffee
Mid Morning :- Carrot Sticks and Hummus
Lunch :- Chocolate complete, rice milk and peanut butter
Dinner :- Went out for a meal with Grandad to Lytham, they'd ran out of chicken salads and chicken, veg and sweet potato?! Hmm ok.. So was slightly naughty and had a chicken burger with salad instead of chips (it was an attempt at being healthy haha)

Sunday 27th July
Well this day just went to complete and utter pot, I'll admit it.
I was a moody hormonal wreck that wanted to kill everyone. Say No More.
On the plus side though, at work we created twinkle toes. Layering actual glitter between layers of clear gel. The results where BEAUTIFUL so anybody wanting sparkly twinkle toes for their holidays. Make sure you get in touch :)

Zoo, Slim Downs, Bootcamps and Vogue - 3 Day Summary

So much to say since my last post 3days ago I don't know where to start !!

I am absolutely overwhelmed by how many views I've had. 343 on my last post, thats amazing! I honestly thought I'd get about 3 but thought oh well it will keep me motivated and hopefully inspire just one of those 3 people overtime. And already I've had a beautiful message off someone saying it's inspired them and also a lot of interest on the summer slim down too :D KEEP IT COMING !!

Chuffed to bits :D

So Tuesday was ZOO DAY! The exact programme didn't go to plan as I was out and about but.. still managed to remain clean and lean ;-)

Breakfast :- (pre workout) a banana - don't want anything to heavy before the gym but still need that boost.

TOTAL BODY TONE (bodypump) 60mins - ouch!

Post workout :- Dark chocolate Almond milk with vanilla complete
Lunch/Snack :- Fruit with greek yogurt and granola

THE ZOO - without an ice cream ;-) just lots and lots of water in the sunshine!

We went to the DeVere Herons Reach for something to eat as I used to work there a few years back and it has a beautiful golf course to look over whilst dining in the sunshine :)

Dinner :- Chicken Caesar Salad WITHOUT the caesar dressing. Balsamic Vinegar to dress instead ;)

Snapchat summary of Tuesday ;-p

Wednesday was a bog standard normal working day, I was meant to go to the gym after work but with the insane DOMS from Tuesdays body pump some how I kinda skipped that one ;)

Breakfast :- Frozen Fruit, Water and Vanilla complete.
Mid Morning :- Carrot Sticks and hummus.
Lunch :- Rice Milk, Peanut Butter, Banana, Chocolate Complete.
Afternoon :- Cashew Nuts
Dinner :- Steak Salad (yum)

I did however get a cool new toy though. A BRITA filter water bottle. Pretty straight forward really, you fill the bottle up with tap water and theres a filter that goes in the top to filter the water you're drinking. Best thing is the tops wide enough to add fruit and ice in too!

Fruit Smoothie, Steak Salad and BRITA filter bottle :)

Thursday BOOTCAMP DAY!
Ugh, as I've mentioned before I'm a full time beauty therapist for a hotel chain and thats how I'm studying my fitness NVQ through the leisure club there. Anyways they're launching a summer bootcamp for members and none members and today was 'staff day' a chance for us all to sweat our guts out in work so we know what it's all about.
It was brilliant! Despite it being about 27degrees and being on the front lawn of the hotel so everyone on the A6 going past could have a right good look at us, it was really good fun. There was different circuits set out which you had to do a solid minute on, then you got 30sec rest to run to the next station then 1minute again. Kinda like HIIT! I'd definitely recommend taking part if thats your kinda thing, theres 3 classes a week over 6 weeks and I'm hoping I can work my shifts around attending a few :D

Associate Boot Camp

Breakfast :- Almond milk, Banana, Frozen Mango, Vanilla Complete! (omg, just call it ice cream)

BOOTCAMP

Lunch (post workout) :- Rice Milk, Peanut Butter, Banana, Chocolate Complete. (standard fave)
Afternoon :- Cashew Nuts
Dinner :- Quorn chicken salad with feta :)

Quorn Salad, Green tea in the Garden, Breakfast Smoothie!

And FINALLY in other news!

My amazing (not so little) cousin Kara Milner has only bloomin' been published in VOGUE Italia!
I know Nana will be absolutely beaming in pride knowing that one of her little angels is featured in Vogue! What an amazing achievement at just 14 years old. I just wish to the stars and back Nana was here cause I know for a fact she'd be printing it off and showing every single person she met! Better still I bet she'd get in framed along with your amazing art workout! You are a very talented lady Miss Kara Milner!

And the beauty side of me is all about GLITZ this week! I've got 'tangerine dream' gels on my fingers  alongside 'wedding band' on my ring finger to add a little bit of sparkle.
Then on this FABULOUS client who's a Bridesmaid this weekend, a french manicure but with 'wedding band' sparkle instead of white on the tips. Looks amazing, I can't to have that sparkle french myself!

And I think thats just about enough jabbering on to cover the past 3days, any enquires on the summer slim down don't hesitate to contact me :)

Summer Slim Down.

So then, my first blog post. I know what I want to say but don't know how to start it off, maybe I need to start actually reading others blogs to get the gist of this malarky! *doh*

** HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO ME **

It was one year Saturday (19.07.14) I've been in this 'fad' business, doing this 'fad' diet.
Absolutely loving proving everyone wrong, learning everyday, growing as a person and meeting some of the most positive, uplifting, kind hearted people I've ever know. Heres to the next year in the business, lets make it as National Marketing Director :D !!

And I'll admit it I've been an absolute pig this weekend, went out on Saturday night drank my weight in Vodka, ate my weight in junk food, then went home for 4:30am, only to get woken up by Ell getting in at 6:30am then up at 8am for work. STANDARD!
So you guessed it my body feels like crap today, operation slim down is in full commence!
