Time doesn't exist, everything's a party, life's a fairytale...

VEGAS

Where do I even start, from the moment we landed it was like a dream, everything's so man made and perfect. The place is a big fake fairytale of glitz, glamour and OTT tack. It's AMAZING!

We stopped at the 5* Bellagio Hotel, one of the biggest hotel/casinos on the strip famous for its beautiful fountains and it couldn't of been better!

If I have one piece of advice for anybody considering going to Vegas 4nights is NOT long enough, it's absolutely exhausting, you hardly sleep a wink and we still didn't fit half the things we wanted to do in. Each hotel itself takes about a day to walk through. 10days would be much more suited if you love to PARTY like we do, that way you can take a couple of nights off in-between to recover and not feel guilty or like you're missing out on anything.

NIGHT ONE - CAESARS PALACE

Day One we genuinely can't remember, after a 10hr flight and being up since 2am we kinda bounced around the hotels in a complete  jet lagged daze, went for a nap and woke up at midnight ready to PARTY! Well.. turns out all the big clubs close on Wednesdays in Vegas? (the place thats 24/7) so next year Weds will be rest night, this year it was GAMBLING, COCKTAILS and watching an American Chick dry hump her BF in a bar just to let everyone know he was taken hahahahahahaha, anybody that knows me and lever will know what fun it would then be to cause some trouble ;)

DAY/NIGHT TWO - EXPLORING/SHOPPING/THE BANK

After hardly any sleep and lots of caffeine it was time to EXPLORE.. What does Vegas have in store for us? On the hunt for breakfast outside the hotel was a massive failure, instead it ended in cocktails and burgers at 10am as it was all we could find. URGH, our body clocks where that fudged it didn't even matter we was STARVING! And this is when we started bouncing around all the hotels, seeing how BEAUTIFUL everything is, how breathtaking the fountains are, how HUGE everything is and how breathtaking the detail and decor in the hotels are. Having Cosmos in the a chandelier in the Cosmo is up there at one of the highlights of Vegas.
After being hounded by club promotors ALL DAY trying to get us to one of the 28386363738 clubs in Vegas we went for a personal recommendation by the friendly NYC shop assistant in All Saints and went to The Bank night club in our hotel... Yes a nightclub inside the hotel!
So walking up to the club, the club promotor spotted us "just you two girls" "yes" "come to the front of the line and we'll put you on VIP guest list, heres some drinks vouchers for inside" so off we trot to the front of the line feeling like celebs (but really we're just females in Vegas) and claim our free drinks YES!! So dancing like the idiots that we are and raving our asses off, another club promotor approaches us... "just you two girls" "yes" "let me take you to VIP and get you a table with your own hostess and unlimited free drinks all evening" "WHAT?!"
So that's the end of that story, getting down with the ghetto kids in VIP on unlimited free vodka... you don't need to know the rest of the story just that we ended up wrecked and running around the Bellagio without any shoes on looking for 24/7 food at 5am! BLEUGHHHH.

 DAY/NIGHT THREE - VENETIAN/SHOPPING/CIRQUE DU SOLEIL

The tiredest day of my life! Started off with an amazing breakfast at Jean Philippe Patisserie next to the worlds largest chocolate fountain measuring 26ft 3in tall and circulating 2 tons of chocolate at 120 quarts a minute... ONLY IN VEGAS! Then went on to find the Venetian Hotel to ride a fake Gondola, the Wynn to wonder over all the fresh flowers and shop shop shop shop around all the amazing huge designer shops.
That night we went for dinner in the hotel overlooking the Bellagio Fountains, dining on steak and cosmos before the Cirque Du Soleil show "O" .. wow just when you think Vegas can't blow your mind you're sat in a huge theatre about the size of manchester MEN inside your hotel watching acrobats/gymnasts/swimmers/dancers doing a breathtaking show where one minute theres a pool, then theres not, then they're jumping from the ceiling into the pool, then their dancing on top of the water, then they're setting people on fire! CAPTIVATING definitely worth every penny and a must to do if you're visiting.

DAY FOUR - ROOM SERVICE/WET REPUBLIC

Why didn't we do this earlier? $80 for eggs but these aren't just any eggs, these are eggs wheeled in on their own table, served with freshly squeezed orange juice, iced water, lattes and fresh flowers.. all without having to leave your bed?!
Time to get ready for Calvin Harris @ Wet Republic.
I won't tell you about Wet Republic as their is no words to physically blog this day, the amount of vodka I consumed does not need to be discussed online, neither does the kid from Boston with an attitude problem, the kid from Canada showing sympathy and the PHD kids from Cumbria finally finding somebody as nerdy/down to earth as they in Vegas. YES we're not stuck up woo woo!

Alls I need to say is being an English Chick who isn't scared to voice her opinion, dance like a robot and hang out by a bin always wins free drinks. Again... not another penny spent but still having to crawl home?!

VEGAS I F**KING LOVE YOU!

 Top Tips

  1. 4 days is not enough, book 10 and have a rest night in-between.
  2. Wednesdays is chill night, so chill and brace yourself for thurs/fri/sat/sun.
  3. Don't go with boys, then you have to pay for things. Not about that.
  4. Make sure you see the Vegas Sign (our biggest hugest regret)
  5. You HAVE to go to Wet Republic, there are no words.
  6. You HAVE to see a show, highly recommend "O".
  7. Have breakfast in bed EVERYDAY.
  8. Don't trust the promo guys on the street, ask locals for their opinion on clubs.
  9. Milk being a girl 100%
  10. Be prepared to never be able to understand life ever again and come home depressed.

SEE YOU NEXT YEAR LAS VEGAS!
